Hey guys,
I've been on sick leave for almost a month now because of these stupid HA's. Normally I can work thru an entire cycle if I have my proper abortives, but this season I got slammed really hard where there were just too many headaches per day to be trying to work.

And I work in a blast furnace, so as you can imagine, my environment is already SUPER-DANGEROUS, super loud and EXTREMELY HOTT. And i'm not trying to be up in there while having clusters. >:(

I'm ready to go back to work! But my HA's aren't gone yet.......im tired of sitting around the house aborting headaches, plus I have comcast and theres nothing on worth looking at. HELP :(

Then go back to work....Or lay there and bleed.

I hope your cycle ends soon, Lawrence. I could not even imagine working around a blast furnace and getting hit. (I'm a steel town girl)

Lawrence, have you tried any preventative meds?

My preventive is Verapamil. 480mg a day during cycle.....then tapering down in the off season.
I recently finished a prednisone taper.....took my last pill of topomax (which doesn't really help me) :P
Aborts.....I have O2 here at home, with an Optimask I purchased from the store link here...
I have Imitrex injections.....and also the generic sumatriptan succinate. I take Melatonin at bedtime....6-9mg.

I am normally able to work as long as I have injections with me at work. But as of this past month, the HA's were too many....4 and 5 a day......

now lately i think im approaching the end of my cycle.....i have shadows ALLLLLL day almost.......some really strong shadows too that almost feel like hits.......
