Title: The Grand Finale (Speculation, Of Course)
Post by Joni on Sep 3rd, 2009 at 1:24am
I love the fireworks on the 4th of July, especially the anticipation of the grand finale when they give it everything they've got.  My cycles usually have a grand finale of their own, too.  It is with a slightly different anticipation that I await this dramatic conclusion.  Oh yes, it is grand for sure, and it does so often signal the end of the show for that season.  But the intensity of this electrical show is often devastating with the booms of intense pressure, streaks of sharp pain, and surprise of how vast it fills my head.  And when it comes to it's final conclusion, it doesn't leave me wanting more or looking forward to next year's performance in spite of my feeling of contentment.

Whew, what an night after 3 pain free days!  :'(    Sure hope the show is over!   ;)

We're here for u Joni,

......when my cycle is about to end.....my HA's always get worse before things get better.........unpredictability, plus shadows all day......not to mention bizarre hits without that dull-aching-build-up-pain which usually precedes the cluster....all sorts of crap ;)

I've been known to have the 'Grand Finale' but in my 21 years of CH this has not always happened.

Hope it decides to just go quietly for you this time.

Don

Thanks, but it didn't.  After looking at my HA log, I feel almost sure it may be the Zyprexa withdrawal, so I am backing up and starting over, then will taper off.  Live and learn!
