Hello there. My name is Jessica. I am 25 years old and I have been suffering from CH for four years now. I have a 4 year old daughter who is my life. I'm in the middle of and episode right now hope it ends soon. I am so glad to have found a place where peole truley understand what I am going through. Most people I know sem to think its no big deal and i'm exaggerating. So thank you for being here and sharing things with me. It makes me feel like there is some kind of hope for me!!!

So what are you taking for your clusters? Maybe we can steer you toward something better if what you are taking is not helping you much.

Hi Jessica and Welcome to your new home (and Family) on the web.

  You've just joined a family that DOES understand . . . all too well.  For those friends/co-workers that think it's "no big deal", copy the 3 page letter on this board, "Letter to Friends and Colleagues", second from the bottom, above the green line on the "Getting to Know You" board.  Might give them a little insight on what you go through.

  This site is by and for sufferers of CH and the info/caring/sharing you will find here is offered by folks who truly know your pain.

  One of my favorite motto's on this board is, "Nothing works for everyone, but Something works for everyone, and here you have a very good chance of finding the "something" that works for you. I was a basket-case when I came here (2/02) and this place gave me my life back.  I no longer fear the beast at the level I once did.

  You have much reading to do, and many questions to ask . . . fire away . . . there are no dumb questions and none that haven't been asked before.

I am sorry you have to be here, but glad you found this great resource. I lurked here for years before ever posting and know this place will help you deal with your CH's.
I am also a mom and my CH's started when my kids were little, so I truly empathize with you.

I know how you feel, Jess. A lot of my friends have no clue at all what I go through. My girlfriend hates when I don't pick up my phone, and people get angry when I don't call, and a lot of my homies call me a wussy for lettin' somethin' like a "headache" bring me down. As, they do not understand.. Not at all. But, I'm glad you found this site, because until about.. a few years ago? I never thought many people had this condition... As I read on Wikipedia, 0.1% of the world have it, and I thought to myself, I doubt most of that 0.1% even know what they have, or even deal with it.. But, welcome. Hope this site helps you feel... less lonely. :)

Welcome home! Yeah, people here have a pretty good idea what your talking about! ;) When you get a chance, give us a run down on what you use as a prevent, for abortives, what has and hasn't worked. The biggest strength of this board is a million years of real experience. maybe you'll drop a pearl on us, maybe we can give you some suggestions to bring back to your doc.
