Has anyone experienced swelling on the side they get their CH? My wife took a picture of me the other day and when she looked at it she gasped and showed me. My right eye was bulging out and my right cheek was noticeably swollen. The side of my face is sore as well as my eye. I am in the middle if a pretty severe cycle and have had some of the worst hits, a few so bad that oxygen wasn't effective. Is this common?

Yes I have experienced this, was quite unnerving to be honest, I asked my doc about it and he said that swelling of the CH affected side eye does happen sometimes. My vision was a bit screwy during this as well, needless to say the eye hurt a bit more than usual during the hit with the eye swelling going on. :o

Lawrence-

The side of my sister's face swells, too. We both get very sore on that side (eye, ear, skin, face, eyebrow, etc.). It is scary, I agree! Of course, I can't visually see what you are talking about. Call your doctor if you are uneasy. Never hurts to check.
