Don, glad you brought this up, and I thank you for that! Why don't you see if you can get OUCH to remember this date from now on? ;)
Cat, thanks for the link to Jackie's post - I missed it, but it's a true gem. Marc |

Oh My good GRIEF Brewsie did you HAVE to do that?!! ugh ugh ugh!!
Oh where to start? I can't begin to list the people who keep me going when I think I just can't. I have Jasper and Paul so I'm already very spoiled but I have so many more of you too. My lovely Jon who checks in on me when he thinks I need it. Beeyul and Jimi who do the same. Cat and Lizzie who both just "know" My "daughter of the heart" Felicia who I miss horribly and can't wait to see in a couple of weeks. Carrie who amazes me with her tenacity and compassion. Steph who hit the ground running on CH and has never stopped and checks in on me and makes me feel so loved. Aussie Brian and the wonderful Denny. I've never met you but I miss you both so much. Carolyn who will NEVER let me have a pity party and I love her for it! The entire Brew Crew. A more compassionate and fantastic family would be hard to find. I love having you guys in my life. You're my bench mark for everything. I'm so lucky, I haven't even scratched the sides of the people I have looking out for me. I have names boiling in my head, bursting to get out - I could be here all day and still not thank everyone individually. I just hope I can be a supporter to others, of the caliber of the people I have supporting me. Now THAT'S a goal. :) |

I'll not name names other than my wife Linda who stuck with me through over 20 yrs of knowing nothing about this malady other than narcotics and opiates were not the answer. I can't say enough about her.
One other name (initials) is DJ. I found this site when I was at the end of my string, and was trying to find a way to end it without hurting my family. (I know, DUMB!) That was on the original message board, and I didn't have two nickles to rub together to join OUCH. My trial membership ended online, and I was away for quite some time. Got another free trial, and scraped up $9.95 a month for a short time on dial-up just so I could come back here. Ended up not being able to afford that as I was only working part of the time. Was away again for a while, but I had hope again. There are so many who have made a big difference for me here that I can never repay, and I am grateful. Jerry |
