Title: Please respond!
Post by Bstrong on Nov 20th, 2009 at 4:49am
What a wonderful site!  Bottom line here is everyone on here either suffers or knows somebody that suffers from this absolute hell!!!  There is so much information here for us.  Oxygen is something I learned about from here a year and a half ago.  Wow it's amazing.  It is an absolute godsend for me.  17 years I have suffered through this, and finally found a good abortive method.  I'm curious though.  4 months ago, I went through a back surgery.  This is the time my cycle ususally starts.  It didn't, and I chalked it to God doesn't give you more than you can handle.  Well mid Oct. boom!!! here we go again.  Why???  I have always been epsodic, and to all of you that are chronic.   I AM SO SORRY!!!!!  My heart hurts for you.  But, why later this time?  These clusters scare me!!!  They hurt so bad!!!!!  After all this time, it doesn't matter..  It doesn't get easier, even knowing the pain and fear.

It seems to have a choosing of its own.

Hi Bstrong, and welcome.
That is great news about the o2, glad you are having success with it.
The beast likes to mess with your time table every once in awhile, keeps us on our toes doesn't it! ;)

Once you think you can predict these things, they become unpredicatable.  14 years ago, i started in August for the first couple years.  Then became an October guy.  The last 5 cycles have always been January.  Also had a couple short spring cycles.  The only consistant thing over the years is that I never had a CH in June or July.  Don't think too much about it.  Just keep that o2 handy

What Kev said! As soon as you get a predictable pattern going...it'll morph all over the board. Glad to hear you have the 02, 31 years and 02 is still the strongest weapon in my arsenal.

I agree..
I'm in my 13 year.
The first 8 years I was October, November, December. 90 days like clock work. Then 3 years of August-December (5 months). Then October-December last year and August-present.... I have no idea when the beast will visit.

I’ve cycled from

Almost exactly 2 years severe chronic coming out of the gates - to

A delightful 1.5 years PF (after initial proper diagnosis/treatment) - to

Nearly 9 years semi-chronic featuring Oct.-June insanity and somewhat more minor/irregular attacks July-Sept. interrupted by a few blissful July-Sept. PF periods - to

Over 2 years severe chronic (that nearly pushed me over the edge) - to

Just over 1 year featuring somewhat more minor/irregular attacks and short PF periods (not sure how to even title this cycle) - to

???????????

I anxiously await a pattern to show itself.

I'm in the same boat you are in man. It a damn guessing came. For the longest time it was October 1.  Then November, them it came in February. Then I skipped two years.  That was fantastic. Now I just finished one end of october early November. Ugh. Now I wait.
