Title: Farmville Post by Charlie on Nov 20th, 2009 at 3:19pm
Just to let people know that I really don't know much about Farmville....not sure I need to. Too much information or something. I get all these emails from some of you and some I have no idea who they are all relating to this thing but so far, I don't follow it. I guess I'm boring too. I've never played a puter game for that matter. I need more time, I guess.
I'm still MOC but not over whatever this thing is. Charlie |

LMAO Charlie! I don't think some here are going to know WTH you are talking about. ;D
But since I'm on FB and have played Farmville, I get it. ;) :-* |

I get lots and lots of Farmville requests. Ellen tells me that I do, indeed, have a farm...but I've never been there.
El says my farm is all dead and brown, and covered with crows. I'm a bad farmer. :P Best, George |

LOL yer funny Charlie! I wouldn't give any of the facebook Farmville, Farmtown, Rollercoaster Kingdom, Sorority Life, Cafe World, Eco Town, Fishville etc. etc. invites, emails and notices any attention at all.
There are those of us who are completely addicted to these games and play them non stop; then those of us who play them non stop for a period of time then abandon them for a time only to return and obsessively farm once again; and those who simply do not participate :) Facebook is a world unto itself and you can spend an enormous amount of time doing just about anything you can imagine, from setting up a middle age conquest to battling things out in the mafia. Or, you can just ignore all the games and show up now and again to say hey to your friends :) We won't be upset if you don't respond to the various requests to be our neighbors on Farmville, just keep an eye over your shoulder for the assassin from Mafia Wars ;) Cat |

Zynga, the company that makes Farmville and many of the other lame Facebook time-wasters, is the lowest of the low.
Facebook, Zynga sued over offer ads "So I funded the company myself but I did every horrible thing in the book just to get revenues right away," Pincus said on the video, which was posted by TechCrunch editor Michael Arrington. "I mean, we gave our users poker chips if they downloaded this zwinky toolbar. I downloaded it once and couldn’t get rid of it," Pincus said, drawing laughs. "We did anything possible just to get revenues so that we could grow and be a real business." The only good thing about Zynga games is that they provide a fair indication if the person you just friended on FB is a tool who should be on your ignore list. Just sayin. |

It's just a "get-away" fantasy world Charlie and it can be fun. Right now I've got a soybean crop going, then I go to my second job on Mafia Wars and get all my hostilities out killing bad guys... LOL!
I'm a much nicer person after I do my farm chores and kill a few people... Beats going to a psychiatriast! ;D My little Caleb was very impressed with Granny's Real Estate holdings especially when I told him it would someday be ALL his.... ::) ::) Then I go back to the real world.... Hugs BD :-* |

I plaid it myself for a while but got way to board with it so I deleted everything in the farm and just quit. Had to go back to killing people over in Mafia Wars, sorry if I have snuffed you out Barb no offence but if you’re not in my Mafia you are fair game. ;D

You can block them easily. If your mouse gets near the post you want to block, there will be a 'hide' button near the top right of the post. Clicking it will hide that application and all of it's future notices. I hide all of them.

Steve -- I promise -- it's just a way to get my hostilites out without "really" hurting anyone...
And Matt - no hard feelings... I may have snuffed you too... I'm fearsome and a power to deal with. LOL! And my farm is doing great, thanks for asking. ;) Hugs BD :-* |
