Hi,
My name is Shane and I'm twenty nine years old. I've had clusters for about ten yrs and I've had 5 total. They come every 2-3 years and last b/w 1-3 months. I usually get them daily and have multiple episodes. Luckily any meds with triptan in them usually help if I catch them early enough but I have not had health insurance during the current cluster so I've had my family members getting the meds for me. I've had to suffer through  many and I'm currently on my sixth week of this cluster. I'm thankful for this site ::) and I can say that this episode has really gotten me researching these things and I've started using many of the  techniques (ex. more water, supplemental Oxygen) that I've read about. I appreciate all the good info and all the time that people have put into this site to give us C-heads a place to call home. Thanks!! 8-)

Im sorry you had to find us but I'm glad you have since you're one of us!
I personally can't recommend o2 enough. It's my far and away favourite abortive and actually works quicker for me than any triptan (5-7 minutes to abort an attack)

You only mentioned triptans - have you ever tried any preventatives such as verapamil or a pred taper?
