Title: I'm finally getting O2
Post by Chad on Dec 22nd, 2009 at 6:15am
It's been a long wait, but my new neuro that I went to last week hooked me up with the scripts.  Had my EEG and MRI yesterday and called the O2 supplier with great news.  I can get the "M" tank for $36 (without insurance coverage) out of pocket per refill and it can sit at my house as long as I need it.  I'm fortunate to get short cycles up to this point, but having that O2 at home makes me feel that much more comfortable to have one more weapon in my arsenal.  I ordered the optimask that is sold here and  a 0-15 LPM regulator on Ebay.

I must thank everybody here on the O2 push and info especially Marc.

Hope you have a have a wonderful holiday!

Chad

I need it.  I just hope I use it right from the get go.  I have my instructions from all of you kind folks on here.

Happy Holidays!

I'm in the same boat Chad, my O2 came yesterday at long last. Typically it's arrived late as i think i'm starting my remission period (a week tomorrow pain free fingers crossed). :) But it's a great feeling to know it will be there when HE returns. ;D

I'll drink to that Kent!  Having that weapon at our disposal is a great feeling for the next cycle :)

Cheers!

I wish you 100% from the start. If the results are weak, just don't give up on O2 like so many others have - until you try the hyper flow method.

Marc,

My next cycle I won't give up till I have results.  I have everything I need, but that little female adapter for the tubing.  That's coming in the mail.  My regulator only goes to 15 LPM, but for 21.95 on Ebay i'd be more than glad to order one that is  higher plus one that fits the smaller "E" tanks.  I have an "M" tank in the closet for now all ready to go other than that adapter of course.  I feel relieved already and I haven't even tried it yet.  I'm very optimistic about it to say the least.

I know it will help, that's a given. The question is whether you can get into the miracle category  ;)

Hoping it works for you like it has for me. It's damn near eliminated all my fear of the beast because I know the oxygen is damn near unbeatable. :)

Thanks Joe.  The comforting thing is that I got my O2 from Praxair and even with insurance not covering it, it costs me $36/M tank and they guy was like "if you need 10 of these tanks, i'll get them for you, if you need "E" tanks, i'll get those too".  No hassle, no problem.  I finally have my supplier :)

You should see if you can negotiate a "cash" price.

I'd say that $36 for an M tank is already a darn good number!

The tank was shorter than I thought though.   Maybe 4' x Ų7 or 8".  Who cares, I have it :)

...and I can get it whenever I want, Yippee!!!

If it's a medical M tank it would be 36" x 8" with almost 3500 liters of goodness inside!

It's definitely medical since it came from a medical O2 supplier.
