question...
I hear that when in a cycle that sun glare could trigger an episode? Anyone else hear of this?

Sun glare, fluorescent lights, regular lights in the house whatever....definitely intensifies my CH attack.
I have never been triggered by it though.  That's just me.

thanks chad! im in a "cycle" as we speak was wonering when in "cycle" does the sun trigger! i ask all i can to educate myself on this "beast"

When in cycle I have had "mottled light" (like the light that comes through trees in bright sun as you drive past) trigger a CH hit. I have also experienced situations where the sun seems awfully brighter when I'm about to ramp up into a hit.

This happens to me too, to the point where if I'm driving I have to pull over because I can't hardly see.

This will also trigger a seizure for epileptics.  Isn't that interesting that those meds are also used for Clusters?

Sun glare has never triggered an attack (speaking for myself only).
 
Spending a good deal of time in a strong sun will periodically result in a nasty attack (usually right after I get out of the sun) but this is inconsistent and not something that I would call a true trigger.  It’s just one of the things that I try to remain aware of.

I've had to wear sunglasses since I was little kid.

I didn't get CH until I was a big kid :)

Never thought sunshine or glare was a trigger for me....did notice early in ch career that every time I was going to the O2 shop I had to wear shades.

Seemed...to me...it was due to high and/or changing barometric pressure.

   Its not consistent, but the Sun's glare can catch me at the odd moment and set off an attack. If I'm in the Wal-Mart store in Newport, OR for more than 15 minutes, I'll have an attack. Something about the lights in the place I guess. If you had told me that before they built the place, I would have said BS, but damn all if it doesn't happen. Go figure.

got caught driving one time with the sun in my face for 15-20 mins and trigger a bad 1 had to stop a while

honestly, all light tends to be helpful to me when I am having an attack.  I have never had light trigger for me, or at least I havent NOTICED it being a trigger.

This is the reason God invented polarized coatings.

Never noticed the sunlight as a trigger for me, but a walk through the perfume section, or a good wiff of any strong scent,  sets me right off.

Absolutely! sun light is one of my biggest triggers.
Forget your Cheep sun glasses (cool song tho ) and get some polarized shades.
