i thought i would post a few questions i have about using seeds instead of calling all of you up on the phone. i thought this would be a good way to present this information to some of our more  bashful members. thanks ahead of time for answering my questions.  :)

are you chronic or episodic?

if episodic how long are your cycles and remissions?

have your cycle and remission times changed since using this treatment?

what type of seeds do you use?

how many do you dose with?

how do you prepare them?
   -do they have to be peeled?

are you getting sleep and what type of sleep aids do you use that don't interfere with this treatment?

if episodic how long are your cycles and remissions? cycles in the past couple of years 2 weeks.  Remission before seeds 6months, with seeds 1 year.

what type of seeds do you use? rivea corymbosa

how many do you dose with? maintenance 25, during cycle 60

how do you prepare them?
   -do they have to be peeled?  No
   -do you mix them with anything? water
   -how do you grind them? mortar and pestle

how often do you dose? Maintenance every other month; in cycle as many times needed wait 3-5 days in between

are you getting sleep and what type of sleep aids do you use that don't interfere with this treatment? I sleep like a baby after dosing otherwise I ride the headache out.  I'm afraid to use melatonin while using seeds.

how long have you used seeds? 1.5 years

have you used mushrooms or LSD and how do they compare to seeds?  Used shrooms recreationally years ago during cycle and it stopped the CH or I was just at the end of my cycle.

if episodic how long are your cycles and remissions? before seeds, every fall and spring for 6-12 weeks.  I have now been in remission about a year and a half and previous remission was about a year

   -do you mix them with anything? about 1/2 oz of white wine after crushing, soak for about 2 hrs.,strain then I mix with some fruit juice for flavor

   -how do you grind them? mortar and pestol

how often do you dose? once every 5 days or so in cycle untill it ends, once every 2-3 months between cycles

are you getting sleep and what type of sleep aids do you use that don't interfere with this treatment? I tend to sleep fine, If CH wakes me I prefer O2, have used melatonin in past (loved it) but haven't needed it since starting seeds

have you used mushrooms or LSD and how do they compare to seeds? Just recreational back in the day, can't comment on usefulness for CH

hello all. im gonna try the rc seeds. it seems like the best starting point and is pseudo legal. id prefer the shrooms but just dont have the time or patience now for starting a grow house in my garage.

i do have a question for those of u who use the rc seeds. i see u use 20-60. the dosing instructions from clusterbusters are as follows:

"In this case as stated above, 4 to 8 Rivea seeds should be the range people treating cluster headaches should remain at least for the first dose. If future doses are needed, this number can be modified to suit each individual. You may need to slowly increase the dose size. Begin with a low dose for safety and build higher only if a larger dose is needed for increased efficacy. Use a headache chart to track your progress and this will make it much easier to determine future dosing schedules and dose sizes."

20-60 seems like a huge dose compared to what clusterbustes is indicating. am i missing something?

And BTW, ingestion of RC seeds is not pseudo legal. It's very illegal.

right, procurement is legal. ingestion illegal.

Those large intake numbers for me are because I really don't know how much LSA is present in each batch of seeds.  Some can be old, some can be duds, some are perfect.  I'm sure you get my point here.

I HAVE TRIED 50, THEN 60 AND THEN 70

I CRUSH THEM UP WITH A HOME-MADE MORTAR AND PESTOL.  LET THEM SOAK OVER NIGHT IN WATER.

I HAVE DONE IT EVERY 4 DAYS SINCE THE FIRST TIME...  FEB. 4TH

I TAKE MELATONIN...  AND YEAH SOMETIMES I GET SLEEP...  BUT ITS 4 IN THE MOURNING RIGHT NOW..  SO ITS UN-PREDICTABLE.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED TAKING THEM..  I WAS HAVING 2-4 ATTACKS A DAY FOR WEEKS AT A TIME.  I HAVE NOTICED A DRASTIC REDUCTION IN THE NUMBER OF HITS...  TONIGHT I WAS NOT SO LUCKY..  BUT IT HAD BEEN SINCE LAST THURSDAY SINCE MY LAST HEAD-ACHE.  I AM NOT SURE IF ITS THE SEEDS OR MY CYCLE JUST WEARING ITSELF OUT... BUT THE COINCIDENCE HAS MADE ME THINK TO ORDER MORE.  I HOPE THIS HELPS....

you might want to read up on the use of the seeds.  The longer the period between taking them, the better.  Like 7 days if possible.  This is just what i'm reading on the Clusterbusters forum.  Also, Melatonin might be interfering with the seeds.  That one hurts too because I think Melatonin is very good as a sleep aid.
