Title: Thankful
Post by Billie on Jan 18th, 2010 at 8:57am
I just wanted to say again how thankful I am to have found this site.  The more I read, the more I find I can relate, and that means so much to me.  It was just one week ago today that I had a big meltdown.  My verapamil had not kicked in, I had been putting up with these demon headaches since mid-December with no relief whatsoever, and I called my doctor's office to see if he would prescribe me anything until I got in to see my new neurologist because I just couldn't take it anymore.  The nurse called back and told me that there was nothing more they could do for me, which not only confused me but made me feel totally hopeless.  Anyway, there I was feeling alone because I had nobody to relate to, and how lucky was I to have stumbled upon this site?  The information on here is just great, and everyone is so helpful.  So, I just wanted to let everyone know how appreciative I am.

That's great to hear Billie...

Now that you have seen first hand how important this site is to us all, maybe you will stick around and share your experiences and offer support and comfort to others in the same situation as yourself.

Unfortunetly Billi, a lot of us can relate to this kind of treatment.  or should I say non treatement.  I hope your appointment with the Neuro is a lot better.  In the meantime print off any relevant info here to give to him/her when the time comes..especially the 02 info.

Billie, your sentiment is one that most have expressed upon finding this site. Hopefully your neuro is one that appreciates new information (if he/she is not presently aware of oxygen treatment). Be sure to also direct the neuro to START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGEfor more information.

I hope your appt is soon so that you get some relief.
