Title: Just when I thought they were gone....
Post by Corey_Griffith on Jan 20th, 2010 at 3:03pm
Hey guys,

some of you may remember me, but I haven't been on here since I was going through my last cycle which has been a blessed little while.

I was lulled into a false sense of security by the demon, and when I least expected it... BOOM!

so..now I'm back.

Welcome back! I just finished a 2 year remission....had almost convinced myself I was cured! Thankfully I was smart enough to keep those 8 E-Tanks in the garage so I wasn't empty handed when he returned.

Are you set up okay with prevents and abortives???

Joe

I actually have nothing whatsoever. I had oxygen at one point but my insurance ran out.

I have a new job now, but my insurance hasn't kicked in yet so for now...I just suffer.

It comes down to this. Educate yourself about CH. To do this, read everything around this site and then ask questions.

The info you need is already here you just have to make the effort. I don't mean anything to the negative.

Well info is great and all, but info doesn't stop the pain. And unless I suddenly develop the ability to crap filled oxygen tanks, then it looks like I'm in for a few weeks of pain.  Don't mean to be negative or anything. I'm just in pain.

Info may not stop the pain, but info put into practice does.

Sorry you are in such pain.

Did you look into welding supply shops for O2?  Might be affordable without insurance, and better than weeks of pain.

If you can, read what other say about energy drinks (caffeine+taurine).  I haven't tried that myself (yet).

Actually someone from the Dallas area where I live called me yesterday. He was the nicest person in world and he was an absolute well of information.

He was saying that there was a way around the whole "prescription for O2" issue. He was saying that  I could very easily get an "MTank" (apparently this is one of the really large tanks that welders use) and just have it filled with "welding oxygen" which he says is pretty much the very same thing as hospital O2. And I dont need a prescription for welding oxygen at all. So now, I just have to scrape up the dough to get me an MTank and whatever little doohickey I'll need to get it safely to my nose, and I'll be set.
