That doesn't look too bad. Just make sure you have your studded snow tires on. You shouldn't need any extra weight, but a bag of sand and a shovel are always good to have,

If the sun doesn't wake up, expect a lot more of this.

Oh Denny that's really MILD compared to what WE got ... About 8 inches here at the farm and it's STILL snowing.

Our power went off early this morning and came back on and went off again and came back on and went off again and...... Only problem with that is we're on well water and our pump runs on electricity!!!!

I had an audit in Big Sandy yesterday and didn't finish up till after 5 and had to drive over 60 miles in this mess last night to get home - Now that was FUN!!! I got home, had a good stiff drink of brandy and went to bed!!! Don't plan to get off my hill till the spring THAW!!!!  :) (And my client is getting a bill for "hazardous travel pay!!!).

One thing about it -- it's really pretty, but ......

Stay warm...

Hugs BD :-*

Used to live in Plano- biggest problem you have today is all the drivers that can't even deal with a bit of rain. Stay home, be safe, those people are crazy!

Do they even sell all-season radials that far south?

My neice lives in Dallas and just posted a pic on fb of the snowman she built.  This is the first snow she has seen since moving away from the midwest.

Ours is melting today. The dogs and kids are the only ones who are enjoying it.... Right now it's just messy and wet. My porch still has about 4 inches built up that hasn't melted and I haven't been outside.

It's supposed to be in the 50s tomorrow (go try to figure Texas weather). I have a cold and am drinking lots of OJ and keeping warm.

I'm ready for SPRING!!  :-*

Well, we ended up with a little over a foot of snow which I was shovelin early yesterday so I could get out of our drive and take my wife to work!  Power went out at 6pm Thurs evening and just came back on an hour ago so we spent the last two nites under in sleepin bags underneath every blanket and comforter in the house...lol...it was 42 degrees in the house when we woke up at 7 this morning!!

I've seen trees down all over Dallas and lots of lightweight awnings and patio covers collapsed from the weight of the snow, part of the cover over our deck has buckled and will probably have to be taken down and replaced.  I've been in Dallas/Ft Worth since 68 and its the worst I've ever seen in these parts.
