Many here have, indeed, seen that drawing before. Careful how you use it (i.e., reproducing for profit or to avoid purchase) - I believe some folks have run into copyright problems in the past. Don't know the details.

No, as soon as intellectual property is created, the copyright is owned by the creator, whether or not it has a little c with a circle around it. What they do with it after that is their business, and I'm telling you, there were some people who stepped on the wrong toes with this one a number of years back. Proceed with caution and at your own risk. |

It's marvelous. And I don't think any of us would want to deprive its creator of his rightful ownership and the benefits that derive from it. For all we know, the creator may no longer own the copyright and may have said, "Have at it, world." But I don't know, and therefore I err on the side of caution. |

LV - I'm not sure you were understanding what I wrote. There's no problem posting it here. Doing so is not a violation of copyright law. It's only when you do one of two things:
1. Copying to profit monetarily or otherwise, and 2. Copying to avoid purchase. Just displaying it here is the same as playing your favorite musical CD for friend or at a party. You violate the law if you make a copy for that friend and sell it to him, or if your friend rips a copy so he doesn't have to buy it. With a visual image, it would be a violation if you took that pic and put it on T-shirts and sold them. |

I'm trying to remember back when I use to see that around. My memory really sucks, the guy is really talented and did some other drawings. That one made it into one of the early OUCH newsletters I think.
