Has anyone made a link betwee the neck pain and the ch? I have authritous in my spine and It seems to be related but the doctors don't see the connection. I've been taking an antiinflamitory called nabumetone and it has helped drastically in the frequency and severity. Of all the meds I've tried in five years this had the biggest impact. Just today I was prescribed verpamil we'll see if it helpes. An ice pack on the neck seems to be the best preventative for me ,thats why I think my ch's are somehow neck related. Does any body else feel the same way.

My CH causes severe neck pain and knots, but not the other way around.  I do have some neck issues but that is with me all the time and my CH is not.  I didn't have the neck problems when I started CH many years ago.

Same here, I never get a headache without my neck and trap flaring up. I was at a nuero today and I may have cervogenic headaches that trigger the clusters...I dont know!!.
Ice works good for me at the start and end of cycle, not too well when in my peak. I also find using a neck massager helps a little if I get to it before the headaches begin.
I was just perscribed O2, I should get it some time tomorrow. Also vermapamil.
Good luck keep me updated on the antimflammatory your taking...I use 800 mg of ibufrofin at the start of cycle.
