Why is this no longer available in the USA?

I don't know for sure, but 2 ideas come to mind. It probably doesn't make enough profit to carry, and that the long term use has a high potential for fiberous growths in a number of organs.

Bingo, and bingo.

You can still get it (not under the brand name Sansert), but a compounding pharmacy would have to make it for you. It's generic name is methysergide maleate.
