The necesity of advertising aside.....the article itself is really pretty good. I know Linda would rather I just overlook the statement that it's far more common in men... :P...........but for symptoms, treatments etc. a pretty good job. Shows we're making progress!

Regarding the initial article on an oxygen therapy study by Jennifer Warner, WebMD...
She's quoting the JAMA article on Dr. Peter Goadsby et al. and their clinical study of "High-Flow Oxygen for Treatment of Cluster Headache" where they did a double blind, crossover study between air as a placebo and 100% oxygen at 12 liters/minute. You need to or END PRINTPAGEAccording to this study, Dr. Goadsby et al. consider an oxygen flow rate of 12 liters/minute a "high flow rate..." Dr. Todd Rozen considered an oxygen flow rate of 15 liters/minute a high flow rate when he published his study in 2004... at least he did until Royce Fishman and I few up to to meet with him at MHNI, Ann Arbor, MI in Oct of 2007... and I demonstrated the demand valve method of rapid aborts at flow rates of 40 to 60 liters/minute... His eyes opened wide and his jaw dropped... then he came over to take a closer look at me... I was still ok... He smiled... Dr. Rozen has become a true believer in this method of aborting cluster headaches. He has since moved to the Geisinger Neuroscience Institute, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA where he'll be conducting a formal pilot study of this method of rapid aborts of the cluster headache...
