Title: Sorry but you are the chosen ones to listen
Post by cavalier on Mar 11th, 2010 at 7:23pm
My treadmill arrived today between naps.
Yawning I opened the door to the delivery man, or in this case a woman.
“Are you Mr cavalier” she boomed
“Sign here and print your name there”
She was only a slight figure but imposing to say the least.
“I’ll get my slippers”
“Don’t you worry sir I’ll bring it in “
Where would you like it?”
“Ok if you insist… yawn…”
“Just pop it here in the hall.”
This box appeared with two sets of fingers either side, 6’ tall 3’ wide…
“Ok sir??”
With a cheery wave she was gone. (Thank god, can you imagine that in the morning doing your breakfast)
Anyway, set the machine up with the aid of easy to use diagrams and the expensive tool basket (Use once and throw away).
Excitedly I nipped up stairs for a change in outfit.
Slipped off my fluffy suede slippers and put on my long awaited jogging suit.
Now I’m not quite sure about the sage green shorts and purple sweatshirt but I did think the matching fairy wings were a nice touch.
I stood with anticipation on the running boards whilst the machine rolled into action.
Wings a bobbin I was off…
Puff puff a puffff pant puff pant Bugger ouch buggering bugger…
“Forgot my lovely new trainers”
Don’t know what this has to do with CH but it keeps me sane anyway.
Going to try a little incline tomorrow, Yawn….

I never thought of wearing anything special when using my exercise machine. Maybe if I had, Sally would have left sooner...hmmmmm So much time I could have saved so many decades ago.

Although if she had a machine, she might have lived longer. I digress.....

Pretty fashion statement in any event

Go to it!

Charlie
