Title: Greetings from Sweet Remission
Post by Fox on Apr 7th, 2010 at 11:32am
Dear Friends,

I've been in remission for 2+ months now.  Ahhhh, sweet relief and back to normal life.  O2 tanks just left the house.  Then the thought occurred that I could and maybe should, visit this board outside of a cycle, not just in cycle, even if just to say "Hello".

My last cycle struck much sooner than expected (after shorter-than-usual remission), so I remain on guard, hoping for the best.

Wishing PFDANs to us all, and remission forever.

Or to help those who are now where you have been.

Just a thought. Welcome back.

Can I ask why?  You may not have a cycle again for 2 yrs. or it could start up again in 2 months.  Be prepared has always been our motto here and not having your arsenal when you need it, is pretty scary.  A lot of episodics stockpile in the off season, if you will,  and say it gives them some comfort knowing they are ready for the next onslaught.

I live in a relatively small apartment, and it seemed unsafe to have the O2 tanks around, if I don't need them.  When the last cycle struck I had no problem getting the O2 fast.

But now you have me thinking it was a mistake, and I should have found a corner in a closet to stash them.  Live and learn.

Brew, seaworthy,

You are right.  I'll try to visit more often, and help where I can.  [guilty emoticon goes here]

Maybe I'll even put up that intro I wrote but never posted in last cycle.

All anyone asks is that you try to help about as much as you've been helped. If you can give a little more or a little less, so be it. We're all God's children.

No more unsafe than when you DO need them.  BUT....they aren't unsafe anyway.  Several e-tanks in a closet for when you need them are "GOLD"

Everyone here who swears by 02, looks at their e-tanks with a mixture of hate, love and awe.

Small apt. or not....I'd sell most of my clothes to make room for m'tanks.   ;)

Glad to hear from you and that you are pain free.

I'd want to keep a tank around. To me, having one around shouldn't be a problem if you use a little common sense.....and you seem to have a lot of it.

Ah, but he's a d*mn smoker.  There goes common sense.  Partially explains the O2 paranoia.  I'll work on it.  (He says with trepidation.)
