Dear family,

You've been on my thoughts and prayers every day, even though I have not been able to visit here as soon as I'd wanted to. That will be fixed by June, when I will move to my very own appartment and hopefully have a much better internet access - and free to use it as much as I need.

I'm sure that lots have happened in here. I promise to catch up as much as I possibly can when I can.

As my 29th year is ending - I will turn 30 tomorrow (11.08 am Finland's time). My life has changed a lot during the past two years. I moved back to Helsinki, I left a relationship which had turned sour and I got a real opprtunity to work for a women's weekly magazine and proved to myself that I am exactly that good journalist as I've always hoped to be. :)

My MA degree has been a drag, thanks to ch, depression related to it, and bunch of bad advices from uni people. But now it looks like it's finally over - I was assured that last week. Now I'm just waiting for my diploma to arrive. Can't wait! :)

My 'relationship' with ch has changed a lot since the 2007 cycle, which was a nightmare to me. I'm more relaxed these days. Could be that yoga and pilates have calmed me... but energy drinks, guarana tablets and more of all: a wonderful supporter, my boyfriend Esa, have made a huge difference.

My new relationship has lasted almost a year, and I can honestly say that I understand now what they say when they talk about finding that special someone... :) Come June, we'll be living together, at an appartment we will own together. I'm excited about that. :)

This has been a great year and like I've written elsewhere, I've got a good feeling about my 30th year. I don't think I've had that crisis one is "supposed" to have before turning 30, unless I had it at 24 for about two minutes. ;D

I'm typing this with a lot of caffeine in my blood stream, but with a lot of gratitude as well. There are so many things I've learned from my family right here. Your advices, your support, your smileys, your thoughts have helped me and made my day more often than you can imagine. Thank you. :)

I certainly noticed our Finn kin's 30th and was hoping you'd be checking in.  Seems like there's a lot of catching up with you, so many good things to hear, Sanna!  Don't know where to start, congrats on so much. 

Looks like you've made your 30's looking pretty good.  ;)

Glad to wish you happy birthday crossing this threshold with such nice accomplishments.   :)          And so much has just begun.

My birthday was a wonderful day from the moment I woke up to the minute I fell asleep. And I even got a present from ch: it decided not to appear! Not even shadows. That made my day even better. :)

Kevin, I promise that I'll post some new pics as soon as I'll get one in which I don't look like I was just mugged... ;D and some from our new place once we've moved. :)
