I was wondering if anyone knew of a free, website builder that is simple to use?

Thanks!

Does your domain provider or host not offer anything to you?

They do, but it's very limited.

Generally it's "you get what you pay for" in this type of thing.

True....

I'll probably just buy some software.  Good to have on hand anyway.

Mel,

What do you have in mind for a site? There are some pretty darn cheap/easy programs out there if you are just looking for the basics.

Granted, it's not really big time pro, but I built my site in a couple of hours with a $49.00 "what you see is what you get program." START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE

Let me know what you think you need.

Thanks Marc.  I actually found a nice webpage builder called WebDwarf and FTP'd it and it worked out great.  It'll probably take me some time to figure out adding pages and such, but so far so good!

I used Web Dwarf and Site Spinner for mine - those are the two that I was going to suggest ;) (Both are from Virtual Mechanics)

Free trials are good.

Steve, I just need a basic web site builder for a title page, uploading pictures with titles and link to email.  It'd be for the business end of my artwork.

Well, I finally had a chance to tinker around with the WebDwarf I had already started.  I must say it's easier than I thought it was going to be!   :)

My husband, Tarey, built his site using websketch.com.

He can upload drawings, pictures, put in several pages, etc.

It's free.
