Oh...and Bill? We're all going to the Corvette factory in Bowling Green to watch a car being made from start to finish. Sure ya don't want to fly in for the day? Brew and Pat are staying with us and Joe and Christy are staying with Jimi and Ruth, but we'll all be together during the day since we have plans to do a bunch of things during the week. Pics to come for everyone who will be requesting them. ;) |

Rolling through views of 'tuckykin Jimi and Ruth's expansive rolling beauty is what probably endeared Linda and Jim to stake out there. Many nice sites, the waterwheel scene is a great together shot, Pat. Back home livingroom relaxing Kintuckered, some comfy atmosphere.
A morning stretch, some Kintuckerin'd-up breakfast and life is good. :) |

So today we crossed the green river into Bowling Green to tour the Corvette factory. Apparently we went on the wrong day because there were no free samples today. But we did get to watch them assembled bumper to bumper. Fun to hear them fire off for the first time. No cameras allowed inside so all you get for pictures is of the museum.

We made it. Took longer than usual cuz it rained most of the way through effing-Illinois. We're safe, sound, the house is still standing (and reasonably clean), no cops or neighbors called us about our son doing anything questionable, and we miss our CH buddies already. All in all a great vacation.
I love our Ruthie, but she don't love me . . . over. |
