Confessed terrorist Faisal Shahzad was removed from the Department of Homeland Security travel lookout list sometime after Barack Obama came into office.

CBS reported:

Sources tell CBS News that would-be Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad appeared on a Department of Homeland Security travel lookout list – Traveler Enforcement Compliance System (TECS) – between 1999 and 2008 because he brought approximately $80,000 cash or cash instruments into the United States.

The New York Times reported that the person who bought Faisal’s apartment back in 2004 was interviewed by federal investigators.

We all know what happened next.
Last week Faisal almost blew a hole in the middle of Times Square.
The only thing that saved the people of New York was Faisal’s incompetence.

Do you really think Barak Obama personally had anything to do with this guy's removal from any list?

I can see it now.....like the Tiger tapes.....

"Uh....this is Barak.....you really need to take this guy off of this list.....you have to do this for me....."

Blaming Barak Obama for this idiot's action, or ability to get off of some list (which would have stopped him....how?) is rediculous.

I had some fun browsing sites that Gateway Pundit led me to. Unreal stuff that makes FOX, Michelle Malkin, and Glenn Beck look like sources of extreme liberal thought.

If this was even close to being true, big media would be all over it. It isn't.

Actually, Homeland Security etal, is working to speed up our ability to track down creeps after learning just how close we came using the old procedures of half a decade ago.
