I'm getting the red x's of doom.

Had to buy a new puter today after a mind fux scene from a favorite show last night prompted spillage all over the laptop keyboard and the damn thing stopped booting up.

Grrrr I'm NOT impressed with windows 7 at all.  Least I'm using FireFox for the browser.

O.k. so it is the day after.

How was the prom?  Did Roy tell you to speak softer or ask you to draw the drapes because the sun was too bright?   Or did they spend after hours in his favorite coffee place.  Did they have fun?  Did they dance?  What was served for dinner?  Did they cruise Main St.? 

Give it up.  Inquiring minds like mine want to know.   ;D

edit to add:   Pat your yard looks like it is coming along great. Much better than it looked in Feb.  ;)

I got the "typical" Mother's Day from a teenaged male.  Arose at noon (he got in at 3:20am), hugged me, said "Happy Mother's Day" and went off to spend the day with girlfriend's family . . . . ::)

He did say they had large well stocked buffets for dinner (including a chocolate fountain thing for dessert), they danced slow dances (cuz he's a lousy fast dancer), and then fell asleep on her couch watching a "chick flick."  No post prom party because "the student council was really lame and didn't plan one." 

One funny side note though, the kids all parked at the school and then boarded busses to be taken to the resort where the banquet and dance was held.  Each bus had a chaperon who attended the dance and rode back with them.  JrBrew's chaperon for the evening was my best friend from childhood who grew up in the house next door to mine.  She's now a teacher at girlfriend's school.  I got a full report from her before Jr even got out of bed (and it was a GLOWING report!)

So I guess a good time was had by all.

Yeah, we had dinner (fried stuffs, pasta, tacos, salad), danced, mostly slow, considering I'm white and don't have a whole ton of rhythm, and then passed out on her couch watching The Notebook.
