I demand a recount !

I don't normally have much interest in politics but a hung parliament ?????

Now the three main parties have to make deals with one-another to decide who runs the country.

what the..... is that all about ?

it will ether be the liberal democrats and labor (best possible out come ) or most likely the liberal democrats and the Conservatives (please no)

every one seems to forget that it was the Conservatives who screwed the country up in the 1980's and labour has spent the last 15 years trying to put it right. And from what I gather from the Conservatives they are going to cut every thing mess-up the recovery and every one in the lower and middle classes will have to pay through the nose for it while the elite few of the upper classes get even richer.. it will be the 1980's all over again and that ended in recession !

   Some people think the United States system is better because we directly elect the President and it doesn't matter how many seats a party gets in Congress.

   What they don't realize is that in a close 3 candidate race or in a close 2 candidate race no one may get enough electoral votes to win. If that happens the newly elected House of Representatives will vote for the President. Because  each state only has one vote, regardless of it's representatives there can be a tie in this vote too. If that happens the lame duck Vice President will break the tie and decide the next President.

Maybe they'll call another election in a few months? I guess it was the TV debate that created your mess for now. Handsome kid, Clegg. No doubt without him though, it would have been worse for you.

It's an old story. When the economy is the issue, the "ins" take the big hit. I'm with you.  You don't need another Maggie!

I wish we did our elections your way. A couple months campaigning and get it over with. From here it seems less toxic.
