Okay Family... I know that I'm a headache... (Literally)

But I need your Prayers and Vibes desperately...  I returned to work today after being off 2 days and one ER run.... This cycle got real bad about three weeks ago, where I was having rebounds rather I used o2 or Trex. But I kept on fighting that evil one...  Finally two weeks ago I called my Nero and he put me on a 10 day cycle of Prednisone...

For the first time ever, the Prednisone did not break the cycle.. I've been off the Pred for a week and my CHs seems to have escalated.

My Niece rushed me to ER on Tuesday Evening.. where they knocked me out with an injections; first full night of sleep in a while.. [smiley=sleep.gif] [smiley=sleep.gif]

I saw my Nero yesterday and he wanted me to try another round of Prednisone (a stronger dose) and he also increased my Verapamil doses. 

Only had four hits in the last 24 hours.. with the highest being a 7 before I could get to o2... No rebounds - So I'm back at work today....

Glad you finally got a handle on the beast...

For some reason, this spring has been the worst for many of us in a long time.  It seems like the CH attacks have been jumping ugly on us faster and harder than ever with no breaks. 

I don't know if it's pollen, mold spores, temperature or body clock, but something is different and it appears to be hitting more of us harder than usual.

The fact that it takes a hefty dose of a powerful anti-inflammatory/immunosuppressant like prednisone to bring a CH cycle back under control leads me to think something is causing our histamine levels to spike more than usual.

:'( :'( :'(The ole Beast is really on the war path... Made it through work with only one mild hit.. O2 knocked it out... But apparently it pissed the Beast off... He's been knocking me for a loop all evening.. It's now 1:35 and I think he's finally went to sleep... been free for almost 2 hours... the longest since I got home from work... Only my second day on the 2nd run of Prednisone... So hopefully tomorrow will be better... I'm going to try the recliner for a while.. I usually can catch him before he get to fearse if I'm sitting instead of laying...  I've walked a at least 5 miles through the house in the last week...  :-/ thanks for the Prayers and Vibes...

NO HITS FOR ALMOST 36 HOURS!!!! AND ONLY 2 SHADOWS.

The Second Round Of Prednisone Must Be Working.... Took a nasty hit Saturday Night while working Bar @ my PT Job; at about 9pm... Did Trex and walked it off out on the loading doc.. Back at the Bar in half hour...
