Guiseppi and I are going!

We are already registered and we already have our rooms. Arriving Thursday afternoon and leaving Sunday morning.

We'll be there, either two of us or four of us, we haven't decided that yet.

Looks like a re-do of April so far!!! :)

Jim and I are registered and got our holtel room booked.  Thursday to Sunday.

We are also going Thurs-Sun.

Is there a registration fee?  I don't see it noted anywhere.

This will be the first one I have missed, since finding ch.com.   I have been to the last 5 conventions.

BUT, it was made real clear to me by two "respected" former O.U.C.H. BoD members that I am not welcome in anything to do with O.U.C.H.

I guess that is what happens when you speak your mind of your concerns.

I hope everyone has a great time, even those two people that I always considered to be friends.

Meaning that the umpteen hundred of the rest of us are chopped liver? Chuck - I can't speak for everybody, but a lot of us have missed you terribly. Please reconsider.

Gotta agree with the Wisconsinites. The main agenda of last years convention was to debate about our feelings on where OUCH was at this time.

No reason for it to get personal and besides OUCH has mostly new members now and I know you don't want to miss out on Goadsby. You didn't get to hear much of his presentation last time because you spent most of the time in the hallway getting hit by a monster.

I personally want you to be there.

Not many people have seen fit to give me a lap dance Chuckles.......I too hope you'll re consider. :'(

OUCH descended from the trees and explored the grasslands and survived with group cooperation, sometimes cohesive, other times unknowing of direction, wandering loosely, surviving not so progressively. 

There began this talk of psychodelia and which way to embrace it, tending to splinter mixed directions again. Perhaps at the time, just letting it be, but it's been an expansion of ingenuity and leading onward.

During shifting cold climates blowing this way and that, you were there parlaying some enthusiastic OUCH street cred and some ground was made, new resources tapped. 


Have heard it said a good participant will follow when cannot lead.  Times change, but of course we're not going back to climbing a tree.  Going to need you along the way.

Hey, if you stood up to say it seems butthead to wear a thong on the head, well, who knew, had to experiment.

There is a whole new board on now, and I don't know that any of us are "respected", but, speaking only for myself, I WANT YOU THERE!  I have never had the pleasure of the pink thong (God, did I just SAY that?) ::)

Chuck, my friend, I've missed you around here.  figured you were just busy as the last time you went AWOL and didn't bug you.  Right now though, I'll bug you all I can.  You need to be in Atlanta.  We've got a lot of newbies that need to talk inperson with someone who has been able to handle the level of CH you have and still function with life.  We've got to many who want to hang up the towel with just a  little touch of CH.  They need to learn what O2 can do, and I know of no one who is better suited to teach them.  It isn't academic to you, but practice and that is what they need to learn from.

As one who stepped in to help out with the shortage of BOD members I know I would welcome your input there also.  I know I'm in over my head and your input would be invaluable to me. 

Hope you will reconsider.  I don't know who the former BOD members were who made you feel unwelcome, and I don't care, but I know that I as a BOD member now would welcome you with open arms.

I'm thinking you might have to bring an axe with you as well. I'll be bringing mine (along with a little practice amp). We're planning some group singalong stuff.

Alas, sarah won't be with me this time around.  She has surgery the day after I get back (I'll be driving home on Sunday and then getting up verrrry early on Monday morning to be there for her surgery).

Carrie - We're planning to assemble a packet of song/lyric sheets, and hopefully everyone who's working on it will include the chords to create a bit of a chart/fake sheet. Once we get it put together I'll scan it and send it to you ahead of time.

Also, I'm going to try to convince JrBrew to pick up a pair of brushes - all we'll need to do is convince the kitchen to loan us an empty 5-gallon pail and, voila, instant drummer.

Brew - Do send it!!! I definitely do more than just classical - still may not reach your arena most of the time, and not the best at playing off chord sheets, but I did take jazz improv along the way!  Currently working on pieces by Sara Bareillas and Christina Aguilera, but that's because they have cool piano parts written out on the sheet music. :-P If no piano, I can always just sing. :)

My recorded tunes - quite eclectic - the top is all classical and the bottom is a mix of pop and broadway. Have a broader taste and haven't recorded anything in awhile, but it's a start. :-P iTunes required to listen, I think!!

Hotel booked. Make sure you tell them you're with OUCH group. Room rate about $10.00 cheaper per night.

Not sure that I can make it, but I'm seriously thinking about it.  It would be my first convention and I'd seriously miss Chuck if he weren't there....

Ray, everybody will miss Chuck at a convention.  Just ask anybody.

However, if you've never attended a convention before, please come to this one.  We have a phenomenal list of speakers on just about every topic to do with CH.  It will be an extremely educational weekend.

In addition to educational - you will meet the most varied, eclectic, nutjobs in your lifetime.  Clusterheads are a very diverse lot, but mostly Custerheads are some of the most wonderful people you will ever meet.

Be prepared to be hugged, kissed, and even pinched (hopefully not).  Be ready to laugh when you meet them, cry when you leave them, and choke when you see one of them getting hit.

It's one of the experiences of my life that I will never forget.

Please try to come.

Just a reminder - If we don't have your registration fees in by June 20th, late registration fees will apply.

I am trying to respond to every attendee who has registered by PM acknowledging receipt of their registration fees.  If you have paid those fees either through PayPal or via snail mail, and have not received a response from me, please PM me immediately giving me the PayPal transaction numbers, or check number and date of mailing.

Again, fees can be paid through PayPal, or by check.  If by check, please make the check payable to OUCH and mail to Sandy Cullen, c/o OUCH, P.O.Box 902, Jamestown, NC 27282.

I want EVERYONE to be in Atlanta!  There is nothing in the world like meeting, greeting, hugging another clusterhead.  It is something you will remember for the rest of your life, plus we have a jam packed agenda filled with CH information, education, and good old fashioned fun, food and frivolity.

Boy Sandy...you really nailed that one right.

I will never, until the day I die, ever forget seeing someone else getting hit with CH. 

Just going to my first convention and meeting other clusterheads, people who share and understand exactly what I was experiencing was awesome.

Actually seeing someone else getting hit and sucking on an O2 tank and watching a bunch of people jumping in to help was astounding!  I literally could not breathe. 

That's when I realized, whether I was in cycle or out, I wanted to stay in touch with these people.  They all became my new family.

Original reciept meaning that it was given to you AT the convention last year. right after you gave Jim the money for yourself and Ben.

Hi Sandy... thanks so much. I received the receipt today via snail mail. I forgot to get the receipt while I was at the convention... Jim, who was extremely busy (God Bless him) actually came to our room at the hotel to collect our registration fees a few minutes after we checked in... and he didn't have the receipt book on him.

And it certainly wasn't his responsibility to hunt us down with a receipt... he did one heck of a job last convention... and I take my hat off to him.
