Helen linked this on Facebook and my initial reaction was "Good Lord, whats next?"

I fear that a Social Security on it's last legs cannot afford this, especially since it is based on endorsing criminal activity with federal benefits.

Illegal immigrants seem to have more benefits and services than our veterans these days.

The keyword in any discussion on these isues is ILLEGAL.

Where else in the world can you go to illegally, work in their country and pay taxes and then collect such benefits? Where???

ETA: I think this is a slap in the face to those who went through proper channels to establish citizenship LEGALLY. >:(

I'm really begining to understand why people are hanging our flag upside down. This country is in distress.

Memorial Day - Our president is in Chicago on vacation rather than being at Arlington where he should be. This guy is a disgrace.

Good grief. The lower east side of Michigan has pushed big time to reelected ~~Satancow~~Stabenow and Levin for years. Way to many years. I think you can now see why. Hopefully this year it will change.

I'll add this one for extra credit. Now illegals are not , by far, the only ones committing crimes. But they should be some of the easier ones to stop.

This May 4, 2006 four year old story refers to an amendment that was being considered but tabled. It was whether or not legal aliens that used false numbers in the past but are now legal should get SS that they contributed to.

Fuzzy (just like most anything from the Washington Times) but not a vote to give SS to illegal aliens. (glad it was tabled!)

Yeah. Washington is great ain't it. I looks like this one wasn't all that popular with our keepers: Businesses that employ illegal aliens. What a surprise. A little cash involved?

You are right Charlie. I read the Washington Times article but I did not read the date. I thought this had just happened.
