The situation with the oil in the gulf that is.
Hurricane season is upon us. What happens if a major hurricane forms in the gulf while all that oil is still out there? Can you imagine a 15' wave of oil washing over the coastline (I"m including any of the Gulf Sstates here). What happens if that hurricane picks that oily water up and deposits it further inland? I don't foresee this situation getting any better any time soon. I just hope that mother nature does not throw a hissy fit and start spawing storms off the coast of Africa. BTW, in case anybody missed it, we've already had our first tropical storm (named) before the season even began. |

Scary, and I heard that this is going to be tougher than usual season too....at least in the Atlantic.

Politics aren't going to plug a hole at depths where equipment is straining under more than a ton of pressure per square inch.
With an oil leak a mile below the surface in the Gulf of Mexico, it's the laws of physics are largely in control. Charlie |
