I read somewhere (here?) that if it is triggered by the period or PMS that it's not cluster, but instead a migraine. Is this true? Doc has already diagnosed me with cluster. I have red eye, drooping eyelid and stuff. chronic for me. :'(

But when I ovulate or get ready for my period, my CH starts up again and sticks around for a week or two 24/7. no relief!
Not every month does this happen. And the CH also comes at other times for no reason I can figure out. And when it does it stays anywhere from a week to 1 month, sometimes 2 months 24/7.

any thoughts ladies?

I don't have the visitor anymore...but....
I would have to agree with Bob the headache that is coming with your Monthly Visitor is not CH, but more than likely a Migraine, you may be like a few here and suffer from both.

On the other hand this could also be a hormonal imbalance, which you should ask your doctor about. Have your Doc. check your hormone levels at the "Visitor Time" maybe that will yield some results.

I do get the hormone realted migraine most months. Never noticed that pattern with ch.
