Am having a little surgery tomorrow... and could use a few good vibes...

Got really sick and doc decided that my gallbladder was shot and they're going to remove it in the morning... so I'll be all better and back to my old grouchy self...

Have a letter from my neuro about what to do in case of a CH (O2 and imitrex STAT) so I should be good to go there. Other than that don't anticipate any problems. I'm just ready to get the darn thing out and get back to feeling better. (I don't do sick well!!!)

Anyhow, if you've got any spare vibes - please send them out toward Texas in the morning... I'm a wusp when it comes to stuff like this...

Barb, I had mine out 10 years ago and it was the easiest surgery I EVER had!  You'll be fine and I'm hoping for NO ch's!!

Must've been some pain.  Too far away to be there to hold your hand for this, as I would, but it seems things will turn out for you.

If a constant thirst craving is one side effect, or you feel like a distant relative moved in, maybe they just left a sponge in.   ;)

I know you're still in the hospital for at least 3 days and that you'll have a sore tummy when you get home...  The good news is having your gizzard removed isn't all that bad, and tummy aches will be a thing of the past...  At least that's the way it's been for me... 

Mine gizzard was big as my fist and loaded with a hand full of stones half of them over 1"

i spoke with Barbara about an hour ago and she sounded good (i am sure its the meds) a little groggy or should i say very groggy  :D :D :D..... i just hope that when the meds wear off that she won't be in much pain at all

I'm home and have some GOOD meds.. hurting but have GOOD meds for that. Am just sleeping, waking up, taking GOOD meds and sleeping.....

Probably not making good sense, but I'm minus a gall bladder (that's good). No scars (lapascopy -sp) that's good.. Should be back to my old bitchy self in a couple of days when I quit slurring my words...
