I am so sorry to have to tell you this, but both Tarey and I have Pink Eye (conjunctivitis).

We think we contracted it from our granddaughter the weekend before the convention in Atlanta.  She had been on antibiotics for about 4 to 5 days before we saw her, so we thought that she would no longer be contagious.  But.....apparently she was.

It took a full week before Tarey showed any symptoms which were on Sunday morning in Atlanta, although on Saturday night at the banquet, his one eye was a little bloodshot.  I am about 12 or so hours behind him in my symptoms.

Please keep watch over yourselves and just as a precaution, wash those hands a gazillion times a day with antibacterial soap and hot water.  I'm hoping that nobody gets this cuz it isn't pretty.  Both of us look like we lost the boxing match and we're running low grade fevers with the chills and sweats.

If you do get it, please don't send a lynch mob to my house - we didn't do it on purpose. :'(

Pink eye and lice......sorry if this heeby jeebies anyone....but our grade school aged children a hundred years ago used to share crossing guard helmets...yeah they all got lice. We went to the doctor just mortified...this nurse was so funny, she said " A child without lice, is a child without friends!"

Should I come down with pink eye Sandy it will just confirm what close friends we are! [smiley=hug.gif] Luv ya.

Oh Sandy!! Haha...  Well if I don't end up with it, then everyone else is probably in the clear.  I always catch everything that everyone else gets and double that with being on immunosuppressants!  I'm sure it will all be fine!!  Hope your and Tarey's eyes clear up real soon!! :)
