WOW, They need to round these guys up quickly, but then that begs the question where do you put over 1000 Mexican gang members ?

I don't think their heritage even matters (although it IS germane to the story).

The ocean would be a good place to start. Or maybe a volcano.

Hence, the reason why it was stated that way.   ::)

Some how, I don't think this would be a viable solution to the problem.  ::)

That's because the major media aren't journalists anymore. They're ruling class wannabe's. Therefore, only the information that helps their cause gets reported.

Well, so much for that.  Seems like they ought to know, seeing's how they live there and all.

Best,

To all ( not just M.R)

I'm a sceptic.

I read all the blogs, forwarded e-mails, stuff on many topics.  I also read the foreign news who write on US topics.

Before I take anything I see, hear, or read as gospel, and before I forward or share what I've read, I try to look into it to see if it's true, possibly true, marginally true, or completely false.

I have run searches on both Snopes.com, and Factcheck.org on this subject.  Neither one had even one mention of this situation - no knowledge - no information - never heard of it.

So, even though I vehemently say SECURE OUR BORDERS, I can't buy this one until I  see true confirmation from sources other than someone's blog, e-mail, twitter account or even local papers.

If this had really happened, no matter what your opinion of our "news media", it would have been broadcast somewhere in national or international news.

I guess I'm saying, don't post anything that can't be backed up by sources other than e-mails, blogs, twitters, Facebook, u-tubes, etc.  We all know that anything read there isn't worth a grain of salt and should not be taken at face value.

Do your own research first by checking out the info through any and all sources, and if we cannot find any confirmation on the subject, then we should not forward it on.

Speaking as the wife who forwards every political tidbit he receives to me, only for me to have to send back to him that if it ain't on Snopes or FactCheck, it ain't happenin!  I'm tired of it.

If you post, prove it.

Go ahead, let the flaming begin!

Sandy

Though this appears to be a hoax, and if it is, I apologize, after it hit several small sites and a couple of  main sites, I went with it. Once again, I am sorry. However, I wouldn't put all my news and information needs on the major new orgs. either. They have been known to be less than forthcoming with information also. Just my 1.68 cents worth.

Mike

Edit cause my typing not to good.

Cable and most big news outlets aren't allowed to pursue "news" if not in the National Enquirer style. It's a battle for eyeballs. Sensationalism replaces serious news gathering and journalism. Ed Murrow and the movie: "Network" warned us that this would happen when huge corporations got into the news business.

Ranting is allowed but something worth thoughtful debate is a nono. No one need worry about reality.

As someone who's lived and worked in broadcasting in the past (for almost 20 years) I can tell you where and how you get your news from.

Most broadcasters radio and tv get their news from START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE
They (the broadcasters) used to have a teletype hook up to AP that they checked hourly for the news, it's now computerized.  The announcer or news director depending on where you work pulls the news from AP and then decides what is 'news worthy' for broadcasting.  (This is were the problem comes in, what they deem news worthy may be leaving out items that would be news worthy to the person listening and not the announcer or news director.)

Saturday night they ran a DUI checkpoint in a town just south of me, Santa Maria.  They got a few DUIs, 2 for outstanding warrents, and 20 for no driver's liscense.  All 20 were illegal aliens and you can bet that if they don't have a liscense, they don't have insurance.

They've already shown they don't respect our laws by coming here illegally in the first place. You wouldn't expect them to have a license or insurance, would you?
