My live-in girlfriend of 3 years has moved out per our breakup.  Too bad for the relationship, but life will go on. 

While I was at work, she received the formal eviction notice and began removing all of her furnishings, etc from my home.  In addition to her stuff, she chose to take many of my personal belongings.  Items that have absolutely no value to her nor anybody else, yet she was vindictive and stole much personal and non-replaceable items of mine....last 10 yrs of filed tax records, credit reports, CD's of family vacations including my son's baby photos, etc., etc. 

To my disgusted surprise, she also took my recent CH.com order of my brand new Optimask and black CH.com t-shirt still in the small cardboard box...gone!  A bag filled with Imitrex injections, Imitrex pills, Imitrex nasal spray, Prednisone, Verapamil...all gone!!! 

I asked my attorney what recourse I have and was told she could just deny taking it and nothing you can do about it, your word vs hers.  The good news is that I am not in cycle.  The bad news is that whenever I do get hit, I will not be prepared as I once was >:(

I am so sorry...man, that has to hurt.

It's more than just mean. By taking the medication that the ex knows is used to treat CHs it is a deliberate attempt to hurt a person, just like taking the other non-replaceable personal possessions.

It really shows what sort of a person she is.

Would also suggest you check dumpsters in your area, and the area near where she moved, quickly, before they are collected.

I'd have her duck taped to the wall and demand for that Optimask and everything else and then let her go.  If your lawyer asks about it, you can just say, it's her word against mine ;)

All of your replies have been very comforting to read.  I feel so alone when all of my very personal belongings including CH meds have been stolen.  I knew you would all have a warm heart and make me feel a bit better with your supportive comments.  I needed your comments and truly thank you all

none of them were samples, they were all prescription...Imitrex injections/nasal spray and pills.....Prednisone...Verapamil....and also took some of my prescribed Albuterol inhalers for respiratory problems.

Stealing your Albuterol is a bit much.  That is serious, not that clusters aren't, but c'mon.  This woman is a witch.

Breakups always suck but dam that is just evil since I assume she has seen you with a full CH hit and knows the kind of pain it inflicts, we all say we would not wish this on out worse enemy, OK most of us say it but to really do something like this? I hope that Karma pays her back in spades for doing such a thing. My x-wife’s first husband had dug out a wine cellar under his house and they filled it over several years with some really good wines and when they split he took all the wine and her grandmothers crystal then filled the fine cellar back up and said it never existed. I just keep thinking that Karma will pay back people like these that do such evil things to people that they supposedly cared for at one time.

Hang in there and I hope she comes to her senses and returns everything.

Can you provide receipts for the items?  Maybe if you could, you could file a police report and prove the items are yours?  If not, do you know where she moved to?  My ex did something similar, and took about half of my belongings.  I showed up at his door, called the cops and said my bf and I were living together and he kicked me out but wouldn't let me in to get my shit.  It was my word against his, and they told him that he had to let me in to get my belongings.  Didn't matter that I wasn't on the lease.  It was a shit lie to tell to the cops, but it did get me inside to get my stuff.

That's beyond ugly. Here's hoping her luck runs out soon. God!

I feel so bad for you..but it all depends on destiny.

Sounds like you made the right choice in the firstplace.

I would definitely call the cops to file a report that she stole your prescription drugs, with a specific list of the drugs. Just know that if she does have them, she could be in some serious trouble.

Trust me, she will get her's...  I don't know the where as or what for, but she sounds like someone you are better off without anyways.
