A booth at the Wisconsin State Fair for arthritis relief "herbals."  Brew had to pull me away from the booth because  I was ready to rip someone a new one . . .

(edited to add - we all know bone spurs and cluster headaches have sooooooo much in common!)

I assume that snake oil is one of the 16 oils used to prepare this "wonder cure".

It's booths and things like this that confuse the CH issue for the average person.   >:(

from company's website:

based on an herbal formula, handed down from generation to generation and to him by his Great Grandmother. APR is made from 16 different oils, imported from all over the world

good old fashioned pain relief remedy

it's like aspirin, we don't completely understand how it works, all we know is that it does.

Always a big persuader for cluster relief mentioning aspirin!

Far out? Thomas Edison made his own similar concoction for facial neuralgia in 1883, but then also needed to add a secret missing ingredient this product doesn't seem to mention. -- morphine.

from Esquire review on website:

It's a mixture of natural oils -- eucalyptus, rosemary, camphor, and flaxseed, among others --

"Used and Approved by Mom & Granny" -- ... folksy ...

from an informational site:

Quote:
Credit for the idea of the state fair is often given to Elkanah Watson, a wealthy New England farmer and businessman who showcased his sheep in the public square of Pittsfield, Massachusetts in 1807. Recipe judging is one of the oldest kinds of competition at the fairs, dating to the early 1800s. Butter sculptures, introduced initially by the dairy industry to promote its product, date to 1903.

Well, recipe competition would be stiff for its entry among the many delicious offerings and butter must not be an "other" ingredient for an odd success of a WI butter sculpture display.

A Prior state fair entry, this 4-room house made in a tree trunk

Not advertised, but maybe the pricey product is also applicable if having your house rolled down a hill by the mischief of drunken youth.

Makes me wonder why the purveyors of this  goo decided to include clusters. It's right up there on the big banner on a par with other agonies. Cluster headache cures aren't money-makers so someone in this group of criminals must have some experience. Shame on them for including it here, if so.

I say we nail em on false advertising for their fair/booth banner.  I have visited their website and I was on every page they currently have linked there and NO WHERE on their site does it mention any relief for Cluster Headaches!   I did not however waist my time with their "how to videos"   ::) ::)

Go for it. We didn't see this until the end of the day, and had neither the energy nor the inclination to start an argument.

According to the sign- 60 second pain relief- maybe that's how they get away with it. Maybe if you took the dose you would get pain relief FOR 60 SECONDS!  LOL  I doubt it though.
