Title: Least important post of the year.

Anybody else ever ponder what a cobbled-together piece of garbage Facebook is?

Has to be the clunkiest, ugliest, most error-prone, most amateur production in the universe.  Who puts that thing together?  A bunch of ten-year-olds?     ::)

And AWASH in viruses the last few weeks...I'm afraid to even open the damned thing anymore. It's killing computers all through my circle of family and friends!

...something not worth your time (matter of an opinion).  I will not join, however it is very useful for those trying to get in touch with old friends, etc...

Everybody always asks why my wife and I why we haven't joined yet?....I always say, if I want to contact you, i'll call or get your email elsewhere.
I don't need "friend request" from people I don't want to talk to.

I love it.  I keep in touch with my extended family and old High School friends with it. :-[

I thought it would be something very different from what it is. I wish I could get into it but even I don't have that kind of time.

The thing is that although I found out some stuff about old classmates, I find it weird.

It's mostly dribble, but I keep up with classmates I probably wouldn't otherwise..

About fifty years and still not getting the hint, viruses and all.  Trying to ditch you since grade school and you keep finding ways to catch up, Barb.

I must admit I do have a facebook page but I really don't use it much at all.  I have a handful of 'friends' on there who I am actually friends with and when I need to, I speak to them in the real world  ;)

The most I've used it of late is searching for people who suffer from cluster headaches and sending them messages.  I'm surprised by how many people say that they have ch and honestly they wouldn't have a clue what it is!  I find the missinformation about this disorder extraordinary!!  Yeah I had one of those once too.....   Or oh yeah I get those, the best thing to do is go to sleep etc etc   arghhh!!

That said, I have been able to contact quite a few people who really do suffer ch and have been able to pass on some advice etc - which has to be a good thing!!

C'mon now. They have the top engineers from the original Etch-A-Sketch working on it.
