Okay, here's the issue... been PF for 3 weeks, still on verapamil, had REALLY bad week and need to know from the experienced folks...  think it is safe to have a cap't and sumpin'?  (had a tee tiny bit of wine last weekend and did okay... ) lib

I'd go for it...but my E-Tank would be within arms reach!!!! Good luck. ;)

Okay, Joe, I KNOW I should have gotten set up with the O2 and sadly I have not...  with that said, can I take a Maxalt after drinking alcohol if I get a hit ? It's probably in the literature but I can't remember (go figure)...  current abortive arsenal contains 1. MaxAlt 2. Frova 3. Imitrex pills. And of course, my window a/c unit in the shop.

Sorry, not a med I use. :(

While on verapamil you will get Drunk fast, verapamil enhances the effects of alcohol.

Keep your O2 handy and don't drive   :D

Please don't drive even without the Verap.  Don't want to lose one of the family!  (Or anyone else.)

Thanks for thinking of me Ginger and Jerry.. and others.  Not to worry, I am Ms Safety. I measured the alcohol and enjoyed a nice drink at home with my many dogs, the cat (somebody elses that wandered up last year and stayed LOL), and my raisin toast! Sadly for me...not even the slightest buzz and can't even tell that I am even remotely more relaxed. Not going to push the beast though, I'm finished with my binge on one ounce of Capt'n. HA HA  LOLO

Why risk a night of  being in pain for a night of drinking.?     Just make certain you are out of cycle is all I was trying to say.
