Isn't it funny how the human mind works (or doesn't) when it comes to pain.  You find something, you take it, and the pain disappears.  For months.  Then you begin to think.

Did that actually work?
Is it really gone?
Is this just a remission?
Have I found my "magic bullet"?
After a few months true denial sets in: Did I really have it in the first place?
You get busy living your life and actually allow yourself to forget that there is a timebomb waiting to go off in your head.  And then one day, right on time, you are rudely woken up from this blissful dream.

Anyway, my Magic Bullet seems to have missed the target.  My old companion has found my address again.  I've dusted off the Oxygen tanks and put everything in easy reach.

No prevents for me.  I'm aborting them as they come along.  That has worked well for the last few cycles. Though I do have a bottle of Verapamil to fall back on if this plan doesn't work out.

My O2 tank farm was full if dusty.  I've got several Trex shot lying around if needed too.  So far the O2 is winning the day.

A humorous reference to the basic 12 step programs used in many recovery programs! (With NO slight meant at those who have used 12 step programs as their success rate is impressive, we just tend to poke fun at EVERYTHING here! ;))

ACTUALLY....my comment about starting the 12 steps was because of your thread title.  "Hi, my name is Dennis and I am a..."   It's in reference to what they say at the beginning of an AA meeting.

We're marrying off another daughter this Fall.  We had 70 people at the house for a Wedding Shower on the 7th. 

It couldn't be something simple with just females oooing and awwing over gifts.  They wanted a back yard BBQ with everyone.  It was like a preview of the receiption. 

It was a good time though and my last chance to inbibe some Sam Summer before the return of the beast. Yes, he showed up on Tusday the 11th.

This is 4 weddings in 4 years.  They seem to be going down in order.  I told Casey (#5) I need a break and if he mentioned the word Marriage I'd shoot him ;D.  Fortunately he's not serious with anyone  8-)

I'm so sorry that ch came to your house again. I was hoping that it missed you completely.

BTW, I know that feeling: when I lived my precious  PF time for almost a year, I wondered, if I had finally discovered something helpful. When ch returned, I understood that it was just changing pattern, that's all. Since then I've accepted one thing: I can never know what it has planned for me, I just can accept that I am a clusterhead and deal with each hit and cycle when they arrive and live my life with the best of my ability in between.

Lots of hugs & PF days to your way. I wish for a short ch visit,
