Today is the FIRST day of SCHOOL!!!

Summer is officially OVER here in Cass County... the day we've (at least the Grown ups) have been waiting for since MAY!!! Did the check list yesterday.... yep, all school suppies bought and in back pack ready to go.. Lunch stuff ready to be made up this morning... check... new outfit laid out - ready to jump into first thing in morning... check... kids in bed (early!!!!) check... Snacks ready for when the big yellow school bus runs this afternoon... check...  Think I'm READY!!!

Ok, it's four in the morning... and Granny's up DOUBLE checking to make sure we didn't leave anything out. :)  I hate confussion in the mornings..

It's always a "sad" day -- my "baby" is growing up.  Caleb will be a "THIRD" grader this year. They just start learning so fast (Granny is having to study to keep up :)).

Linden has a really good football team this year and are planning to go to State playoffs. I've been hearing all about it from Mr. Caleb. Mama and Daddy aren't really into football, so he has it planned for him and Granny to go to ALL the games. Guess my Friday nights are booked for the season. LOL! (Shouldn't have let him enroll in football camp this summer!)

Then he tells me they have a Peewee football program and he just HAS to be in it...

Maybe summer wasn't that bad after all....... :-*

Geeze....The weather down there looks atrocious. Come on up! The high for the week is going to be 72....wet though....in my end of western New York.

Not yet... they dont' meet till next week... gosh now where did I put my den mother outfit???? (haven't had that darn thing out since 1978 or somewhere along about then... :) ).

Right now the dogs are trying to figure out the bus schedule ;) They've been "lazy" all summer and are working on getting back in the grove. When to get Caleb on the bus and when to meet him in the afternoon... got the morning about worked out, but the afternoon is throwing them off right now... (it's their nap time).

Oh well, another week or so and we'll have it down...  ::)
