Why is it when you are sitting at you desk try to quietly have a CH attack THAT is when everything goes to hell in a handbasket! Then while everything is blowing up around and I am trying to put out at least 10 flames, my right eye is blurry and leaking, my nose is running and my head feels like it is going to split open any second, my boss does not think I am taking the situation seriously and thinks I am being flip.

Insert many words that I can't say at work or type on this website!

Now that my head has calmed down everything is back to normal >.<

I think we have all been there and continue to be there when stuff like this happens.
It is just another reason this site is so great, you come here and vent and we all get it and you know we get it. Hang in there it will pass, have you tried giving your boss the letter that explains what you are going through?

Aw hun, I'm so sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't imaging having to go to work with these things. I'm the supporter, but I thank God every day that a) we're partners in work, and b) we can work from home in what we do.

I think BigMatt's got a great point - have you given your boss the letter? Might help with a little understanding.... *fingers crossed*

My boss called me into his office and asked me what was going on. I lost it :P. Told him everything then he asked if I needed to go home and get some rest. I cry (a work for gods sake) Through my blubbering I was like - I don't want to lose my job blah - blah - blah.

He started to laugh - he said your in no danger of losing your job, just go home and get some rest so you can come back and do the great job you normally do. Then I cried more :P.

When I got home I found a brand new Welding 02 set up!

Gina,

Hang in there. You've been there before, and if you do the kind of work I think you do he would be a fool to even think of letting you go "just because of a headache" ;). I'm glad he put your mind at ease and understood. Now pull yourself back together and go back tomorrow and give it another go. Sometimes it is the bad times that make the good times so much sweeter.
