As I read this thread I can hear the wind howling through the trees outside!
There is a huge storm the size of Australia just passing over NZ at the moment and even though we're about 2,500km (1500 miles) from the centre of the storm there was still winds over 100 mph with lots of stuff blown around and some tree damage. |

Stephen King would love a lot of her art work George. Like this one for instance.
Very, VERY good work. Also I hope you let her know how much we all enjoy her work when you post it here. |

I was young once and lost my voice but looked in the basement and it wasn't there.
When it got really dark outside, I went in the house because the moon turns into a fox. Charlie, when Mom says its too windy to fly your Peter Pan peanut butter kite you just got in the mail after sending away for and waiting eight weeks, she's right. It never got to the trees, the picker bushes next to the house can eat it too, five seconds after you get out the door. Dad helped me make my own kite once. I was showing Mom I can fly it. Telephone poles are like trees too, but with many wires and kites go round and round and round them. Mom cut the string real quick. My old elm tree in the backyard would rustle and sway when I heard wind whistling through. I used to climb it. Now I know if I whistled real low up there I could have started wind if other trees heard me. That tree doesn't look like it likes to just whistle. I like her inventiveness. :) Does she do waves squalling? ;) |

Can't see it. Apparently my company's firewall doesn't like the name of the site on which it's posted.
