When I came back here a few months ago out of desperation, I was going on a year without a CH break. I was getting pretty depressed as my world had basically shrunk to the length of my O2 tube.

I quickly picked up from you some new tips that I did not get my last visit in '06. Red Bull does help abort attacks for me and is easier to haul around than O2.

But the life changer, so far, is the increased dosages and combo of lithium and verapamil. Right now verap 480 and lithium 600 has prevented attacks for 3 weeks with hardly any pressure. I had taken each of these drugs individually in years past with no benefit, but at lower dosages.

If it had not been for this site and you regulars who are here constantly making this site what it is....I would still be in that bleak, little, pain-filled world.

I just want to say thanks to all of you "regulars" who spend countless hours answering what are usually the same questions and responding to all us fellow clusterheads in our times of fear, frustration, and desperation!

So glad you were finally able to get some relief from the beast and that the others were such a big help to you Bill!!  Positive feed back is always nice to see.  ;)

Great news!  Now, I want to focus on the last paragraph of your post where you said,

You've seen the difference some can make by staying around and helping answer some of the "same" questions.  Now how about staying around during your off-time and help with some of the answers.  You never know what you will pick up that you can use at the beginning next time rather than having to come back in panic to see what progress is made. 

THere is a seat and an oar open, and they have your name on them.

It's great to see news like this and hopefully some people reading this topic are new to the forum and they get to see that there are ways to get on top of CHs.
