Well it’s almost midnight in Massachusetts, and that’s where my bride finds herself tonight.

50 years ago today, November 30, 1960, Kenneth and Nancy Darrow gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Through the grace of God and more luck then I deserved, almost 22 years later she married me. My father told me to be very careful who I married, from that ONE decision would come 90% of my happiness, and 90% of my misery. Well, she took me at gunpoint to doctor after doctor to get my CH diagnosed, found the original CH Streaming message board for me, orders my meds, monitors my oxygen supplies, keeps the world away from me when the beast comes knocking, gave me two beautiful baby girls and raised them to be the incredible adults they are. To those who have not met her, she’s the queen, an awesome supporter for me and any stranger who’s hurting. To those who know her, you’re blessed by that fact alone. To those she calls a friend; you are truly blessed with a friend who will never fail you.

Thanks all. Given I was going to be out of town I had our own Steph help me celebrate, she sent me some really cool RED HAT cookies to share with my friends here.

Joe treated me well with beautiful new earrings and neclace before I left, and is sponsoring a tea party (complete with hats) for me and my friends when I get home. I'll put up pictures as I'm sure they will be fun!

Ah thanks all. Just got to finish reading all the messages and watch all the you tubes! Fun!  I had a good week out of town and now am getting ready for my "red hat" tea party this afternoon!

Yesterday my daughters hosted a "tea party" for me (which of course Joe sponsored). Most the ladies I know through dancing, plus my sister and one of my sister in laws. We had a delightful time.

My daughter Patty is 1st one on the left side of the table, my sister Barb sitting with the turquoise hat to my left, daughter Jeanette standing with red hat to my left, and then Joe's sister in law Alma to my right. 

With all the attention I had this week I'm considering turning 50 again next year!
