Looks like my Grand-daughters have decided to make an early appearance.  They are going to make an appearacne today or tomorrow (if my daughter can hold off delivery till tomorrow).  Being 6 weeks premature, they will undoubtedly spend some time in ICU.  Please include them in your prayers.

Baby A (no names yet) arrived 5:55PM about 3 1/2 pounds.  Baby B 2 minutes later a little over 4 pounds.  They've already started to dial back the O2 in the incubators so they are doing well for now.

Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers, they worked!

How beautiful!  What a lovely Christmas gift for your families.  So happy to hear the babies have arrived safe and sound.

My daughter has never looked so radiant!!!

It's amazing how you can read in someone's face after they've realized that their whole world has just changed.

How absolutely precious.

She looks like she's tired...but yes radiant, all at the same time.   Bob, how far away is she from Los Osos?  If you're close I know that you and Sara are goi ng to be a big help to her.

The babies were delivered Monday evening.  The pic above is the first time she held one of the babies, Tues. evening.  It's baby B, the bigger of the two.  Baby A has a bacterial infection so is on antibiotics and still in the incubator.  My daughter was up all night barfing fro the mediacations.  But, she is already stating to give direcions to the family wanting to help so she is in good form.
Sarah is there now.  I was there Tues. night, am home now but will go back tomorrow (200 mile drive).  We'll be back and forth a lot in the next few months.

   200 miles means she isn't with-in a good range of y'all.  Sorry about that.

For inquiring minds.  Baby A and baby B is how they refer to twins in the whom and as newborns.  The drs label them that way to keep them straight with thier own individual medical histories.  I am glad to hear her deliverery was relativly quick.  Mine were born 1 1/2 hrs apart naturally.  They sure are small but will fill out very quickly.  I am glad to hear she will have lots of help around.  Are they boys or girls or both?  Identical or fraternal?  Mine are 25 years old last month.  My Dad still can not tell them apart and he sees them all the time.  Always has.       

2 girls but fraternal.  Both off the O2 and doing well.  Now they just need some time to grow and they will be going home.
