Title: hey fellow chronics....
Post by E-Double on Dec 6th, 2010 at 6:18pm

any one have a particuliarly easy season prio to latest high cycle and now getting whacked harder than in recent times?

ive had a relatively easy year considering. i get a week off here and there and have come close to a month on 2 seperate occasions ( by old criteria cycle wouldve been over and become ech again haha)

i'm getting wrecked harder than i recall. not necessarily the frequency but the intensity of attacks and shadows are a hell of a lot stronger than theyve been in ages.

just a bitch of a time lately
my O2 hasnt even touched a few.

pf2u all

Joe recently had O2 quit working for him and he followed Batch'es PH formula and got relief.  That might help.

Mine have been less intense, but the shadows have been getting progressively rougher and staying longer.  Haven't really had any breaks in a couple of years other than going 9 weeks a while back w/o having to use O2.

Thanks brothers!!!

I still have an old regulator that max's out @ 15...Always worked with clustermask and then better with optimask but I gave my optimask to a newbie a few months ago and kinda low on $$ these days so gotta deal with what i have.

the hyperventalating doesnt seem to work with lower since it wont refill quick enough.

thanks again.

I'm really sorry to hear you're having such a rough time of it at the moment  [smiley=hug.gif]  There must be something in the air - having a particularly hard time of it too although not chronic.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and hope you get a break real soon!!!

Any chance you could remove the mask, pinch your nose, and breathe directly from the tube? You get unrestricted O2 that way, and its kinda like a t-fitting. It's tricky but I've done it and I don't have to wait for the bag to refill. Just a thought. Blessings. lance

Good thing you didn't go into engineering, dude.

Make your own. Big plastic bag, small hole for the feed tube in one corner, tape it up good. Little bit larger hole in opposite corner, tape a larger tube in place for you to suck on. Turn it on, cover the suck tube with your thumb or hand, let 'er fill up. Use a garbage bag and you'll be able to hyperventilate until the cows come home.

The only drawback to this method is the time waiting for the bag to fill. But if you fill it when you're done with a hit, secure the suck tube (piece of duct tape or some such), it'll be ready to go the next time. Just have to find a place to store your tank with this huge balloon on the end of it.
