Title: Sorry ass people Post by mikstudie on Dec 18th, 2010 at 2:02pm
Trich and I have a son who lives in Flint Mi. about an hour or so north of us.He is the Father of two of our grandbabies, boy 6,girl 8 years old. He lost his job about a year ago and is really having a rough time. Here comes the sux's part. So Trich and I go shopping and buy a little extra than other years just to make sure the kids have a good X-Mas.So we send the package U S mail it gets delivered and someone stole the box off the porch. You would think that after opening the box with little kids clothes, and toys that the sick SOB would bring the box back.Well I would never have a kid not have a X-Mas, so we are going shopping tonight and skipping a family X-Mas get together tommorow and driving the gifts the the kids. >:(
I hope the SOB developes CH. >:( |

I'm not sure CH is enough for that one. One survives CH.

I think there's a special room reserved in hell for people who steal from others, especially children, at Christmas. What comes around.....

Update:: My son goes to the store comes home and the package is on the porch(opened) but everything is there. I guess there are some honest crooks.Best thing kids will be happy,oh and I saved a couple hundred bucks not going back to the store to replace the gifts and I get to go to my X-Mas bash tomorrow. ;)
OK,so I dont wish the crook gets CH,mabey just a couple bad cycles.. ;D |

Glad this had a happy ending! Good thing you didn't buy them a big screen tv..don't know if the crook would have brought that back. I don't know anyone who would have the guts, or could live with themselves, to steal clothes and toys from kids on Christmas. Enjoy your bash tomorrow!

That is just plain terrible. However, I am so relieved to know that the crook had a change of heart and returned the gifts. Thank you for being so generous with your grandkids. We have the same situation here. Our son was unemployed all year and then his wife lost her job also. We made sure that this year Christmas will be special for them as well.

Next time you'll probably want to send it with a signature required by the consignee.
Glad it worked out in the end. |

Mankind was my busines! Jacob Marley's ghost
You never know who might come knockin' on yoah door, when the night is dark, and the clock strikes 12, and the spirit of man roams the world. Even Scrooge and the Grinch had a change of heart. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, and Merry Christmas. lance |

Or send it FedEx, signature required. If the consignee isn't home, they'll make 3 attempts, then hold it at the local office for pickup. |
