OK, assuming my O2 gets delivered tonight...
What's the best order for meds? I've never had O2 before, so until now I'd wake up with CH, shoot a Zomig, and pound a Red Bull. O2 before/after Red Bull? I'm hoping the O2 will make the Zomig unnecessary or secondary... |

Wait so long? I saw the neuro as soon as humanly possible after the cycle started. Getting the O2 tonight. It's been 4 years since my last cycle.

Grab the O@ as fast as you can. Hopefully it will negate the need for the others. If anything hit the Red Bull after to kill of any remaining shadow. (My preference)

As far as Meds go........I use the O2 as an abhortive, as a preventative my GP has me on a prednisone taper over a two week period...starting at 20mg and rapidly tapering over the fortnight. In conjunction wiht the prednisone I take verapamil daily @ 16mg ( have read some people as high as 240mg but 16 works for me) The verapamil is a calcium chanel blocker and takes up to a month to take effect, but hey....if I can shorten my cycle to a month, I'm happy.
Hope this helps :) |

16mg?? Do the pills even come that small? 480 seems to be the magic number for me, though lots here seem to go much higher.

I suppose there's no fixed pattern, but my routine is to down an energy drink at the first sign of a hit...the buzzing, the pressure, the stabbing warning hits, whatever....and then immediately go on the O2. For me, anyway, this seems to work better than going right to the oxygen. I've done both, so perhaps you might be flexible in how to line up the abortives.
Also, I'm not sure if Batch is still holding to this, but if I don't abort after 10-15 minutes of huffing, I take a break of about 5 minutes, and then start again. This has worked a couple of times, too. Better than 45 minutes straight on O2. But since the advent of energy drinks, I haven't had to do this. God bless! lance |
