I had the oxygen the first time I found that neuro......just didn't worked and had to suffer for 3 hours with a full blown attack.....
While Zomig takes care of the attacks 99.9% of the time... Would not want to chance it again..... I've been a lab rat for too much suffering already ;) |

I see that it's pretty rocking over here! :)
A question about oxygen......after you abort attack with oxygen, do you get a full night of sleep, or do you get another attack? I used to get another attack if I aborted with water or energy drinks.......not with Zomig |

That's a good question. Aborting an attack with O2 also means staying on O2 for 10-15 minutes at a lower flow rate after the hit is aborted. This seems to help in reducing the rebound or even onset of the next attack. Now, I chug a full size Monster or Red Bull at first hint and then huff the O2. I saved imitrex or migranal for the stubborn hitters that wouldn't yield, but now am in a pretty effective regimen. As to the O2...it's not a preventative. It's an abortive. And a palliative. My first reaction to high flow O2 during a hit was amazement at how it helped me manage the pain. I could live through the high KIP hits without screaming. Now, I never go anywhere without it. Blessings. lance |

Glad you stuck your nose in here Yan, and welcome. :)I'll echo the strong support for 02, has all but eliminated my use of triptans.
