....for our dear friend, Lyda. She suffers from ALS and has just been taken by ambulance to the hospital. We fear it's a heart attack. We're on our way to the hospital.

Thanks...you all are the best!

We just got home from the hospital. Lyda is stable....the severe chest pain has subsided. They are running tests....checking her for pneumonia too. She talked to me just like she always does which was reassuring....told me to give her a hug and kiss...she'd see me tomorrow :) She will too.

Lyda is home :)
They found nothing they could treat and her heart is as good as can be considering the ALS.
I'm making her a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup (which she loves) and heading down to visit shortly.

Thanks again for all the prayers....you all are the best!

Oh Thomas..I hate ALS too. It's a cruel mean disease :'(

My Darling Seester... Linda informed me of the situation when we were in St. Louis... Although you and your family are included in all my prayers (as well as the rest of my CH Families); I have been Praying extra hard not only for your friend, Lyda, but also for her family and for You and Blake.

My Prayer For Today...

Lord, I don't always understand your ways. I don't know why Jackie's friend has to suffer, but I trust you. I ask that you look with mercy and grace toward Jackie's friend Lyda. Nourish her spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort her with your presence.

Let Lyda know you are there with her through this difficulty. And may you be glorified in her life and also in Jackie's and Blake.
